Sir Vincent Chukwumobi (Ukpor bu Ukpor) is a technocrat, businessman, politician and APGA stalwart in Nnewi South local government area of Anambra State. He is also the former APGA treasurer in Nnewi South and the first APGA candidate for Anambra State House of Assembly, Nnewi South Constituency II in 2003. He spoke to the media about the just concluded election in the state. Excerpt;

WHAT IS YOUR GENERAL VIEW ABOUT THE ELECTION?

The election was peaceful, free and fair and I must commend Ndi Anambra for coming out en masse to choose the right candidate. I think the outcome is the true reflection of the will of the people. Despite the security challenges prior to the election, everything came to a normal few days to the election.

HOW HAPPY ARE YOU ABOUT THE VICTORY OF APGA IN THE NOVEMEBER 6TH ELECTION?

I am happy for the victory and you can also see that Ndi Anambra are happy too. This is another phase of good governance. I want to use this opportunity to thank the good people of Nnewi south for giving a resounding victory to our great party, APGA in the just concluded election. I commend the untiring effort of our able Transition Committee Chairman, the member representing Nnewi South 1 in Anambra State House Assembly, our able Party Chairman and all the campaign committee members for a job well done. I specifically commend a brother, Chief Emma Nwachukwu (ONUDUGO) for standing with us; we cannot thank him enough for his unmatched financial and moral commitments. Similarly, I specially congratulate His Excellency, Dr. Willie Obiano and his wife Osodieme, for making our Party APGA what it is today- a grass root party which has continued to deliver on its core mandate as enshrined in our manifesto. I equally congratulate our Governor elect Prof. C.C. Soludo and his Deputy, Dr. Onyekachi Ibezim for winning the governorship election in another landslide victory that is only synonymous with our great party, APGA. I finally congratulate the good people of Anambra state for their unflinching belief in APGA and most importantly, the sustenance of the continuity of good governance.
