Eluemunoh felicitates Iwuanyanwu, tasks all to support him

A Former President of Ohaneze Ndigbo in Anambra, Chief Chris Eluemunoh, has called on all Igbos to support and join hands with Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, newly elected President General of the Apex Igbo body, Ohaneze-Ndigbo worldwide.

Eluemunoh said that Iwuanyanwu is verse in affairs of the Igbo apex body and has demonstrated keen interest and support towards the growth and development of the body from scratch till date.

He said that Iwuanyanwu is at abreast with activities of the body so he has the capacity and will power to unite Igbos and work towards achieving lasting peace and progress in the region.

Eluemunoh said that Iwuanyanwu is a thorough Nigerian who has mingled very well with most Nigerians across the geo-political zones of the country and can amiable achieve national agenda without primordial instinct.

He said it was the turn of Imo people to produce a leader for the body and he was chosen on consensus level based on competence and his passion for the service to humanity and Igbo race in particular.

“I call on those having dissenting voices to stop and join other stakeholders in Igboland which included the past and present governors of the region, traditional rulers, past and present president Generals of the body, among others, to purse Igbo agenda like other zones do.

“I appeal for peace to be and let move with sound voice to run business affairs of the Igbos as a body whose voice need to be heard in the country, self interest need be swallowed by national or regional interest,” he pleaded.

He said that before the election, Iwuanyanwu was known  as one of the Igbo finest philanthropist par excellence, massive employer of labour, strong thinker, and sagacious politician.

Eluemunoh said that it is expected that Iwuanyanwu would complete the tenure of the immediate past president General of the body, Late Prof. George Obiozor, who died in active service in 2022. (NAN)
