EFCC witness fails to link ex-CBN Gov Emefiele to Zenith accounts
An EFCC witness on Friday could not connect former CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele to Zenith Bank accounts tied to alleged property fraud involving a 753-unit estate in Abuja.
Emefiele and co-defendant Eric Ocheme face charges of unlawfully holding billions in proxy accounts. The court granted Emefiele bail and adjourned the trial to November 26.
