The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is set to rehabilitate Nigerians prosecuted for internet extortion.

The programme targets youths that have been convicted for “yahoo yahoo” related offences.

EFCC Chairman Abdulrasheed Bawa gave the hint during a meeting with Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre officials.

CLTC Director-General Soji Eniade led the delegation to the EFCC headquarters in Abuja.

The anti-graft chief disclosed he was concerned about the future of young Nigerians.

“I do not derive joy in the arrest, investigation and prosecution of thousands of youths in productive ages, but the job must be done.”
