Edo Assembly Summons CP Over Traditional Ruler’s Arrest
The Edo State House of Assembly has summoned Police Commissioner Monday Agbonika to explain the arrest of a traditional ruler within the Assembly complex.
Lawmakers condemned the arrest as disrespectful, demanding the ruler’s immediate release and urging police to respect legislative protocols. The CP is to appear before an executive session on Tuesday.
