Ebonyi Court Orders Social Media Critic to Pay N5m for Defamation
A High Court in Abakaliki has ordered Mr. Chika Nwoba to pay N5 million to lawyer Ugadu Chinedu for posting defamatory content on Facebook in 2024 and 2025.
Justice Franklin Edem also directed Nwoba to retract the posts with a seven-day apology and barred him from further defamatory publications.
