By Julie Sylvia Onitsha
Dr. Alex Obiogbolu joined the Christian faithful in Anambra North to commemorate Palm Sunday, emphasizing the true meaning of Christ’s sacrifice and its relevance to leadership. “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord, Hosanna in the highest,” echoed through the communities as Obiogbolu reflected on Christ’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem.
Obiogbolu highlighted that Palm Sunday is a moment of joy and a call to deeper understanding of sacrifice and purpose. He noted that Christ’s selfless act remains the greatest example of leadership, rooted in service, humility, and willingness to lay down one’s life for others.
Obiogbolu reaffirmed his commitment to the teachings of Christ, pledging to be a voice of advocacy, a bridge between the people and the government, and a champion for policies that bring relief and development to Anambra North Senatorial zone if elected to the Senate.
His message emphasized that true leadership is about serving selflessly for the greater good, just as Christ’s sacrifice brought hope and redemption to humanity.
