Dinamo Zagreb manager, Zoran Mamic jailed ahead of Tottenham clash

Dinamo Zagreb boss, Zoran Mamic has resigned after being sentenced to four years and eight months in prison.

The manager resigned ahead of the teams’ Europa League clash with Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham leaving his boys in disarray.

The manager and his brother Zdravko were convicted of corruption charges in 2018.

Mamic tendered his resignation as Dinamo Zagreb boss immediately after Croatia’s Supreme Court upheld the initial rulings on Monday.

In a statement on the club’s official website, Mamic, said, “Although I don’t feel guilty, I resign as I said before I would do if the sentence was confirmed.

“I wish all the good luck to the club
