Dignitaries Set to Storm Star-Studded AMTY Awards in Awka
The highly anticipated AMTY Awards, one of the most prestigious award events in Igboland that celebrate ndi Anambra for their outstanding achievements is set to take place in Awka on the 29th December, 2023.
The AMTY Awards shall celebrate a galaxy of select Anambra sons and daughters who have achieved immensely in different areas of their life endeavours on that day.
With a host of dignitaries and celebrities expected to attend, the event promises to be an A grade event.
According to Dr Odogwu Emeka Odogwu, Director, Media and Communications AMTY Awards, “AMTY Awards recognises excellence in various categories, including academia,legal profession, Medicine, entrepreneurship, real estate, leadership and Journalism among others”.
The annual event aims to acknowledge the hard work and talent of individuals and groups who have contributed significantly to the growth of the State.
The organizing committee ably led Engr Dr. Stephen Uchenna Ufoaroh, Immediate past chairman, ASUU UNIzik has assured that no effort will be spared in creating a remarkable experience for both the nominees and the attendees.
Dr Odogwu states that the awards show will feature stunning performances, captivating presentations, and heartfelt speeches, providing a platform to honor Anambra finest.
Confirmed guests for the AMTY Awards include renowned actress,like Jennifer Eliogu, Rector, Federal Polytechnic Oko,Engr Dr. Francisca Unoma Nwafulugo, Former Vice chancellor,Hezekiah University and Former Resident Electoral Commissioner, Imo State,Prof Emeka Ezeonu, National Chairman,African Democratic Congress, Ralphs Okey Nwosu ,Real Estate Mogul, Dr Ned Okonkwo, Youth empowerment expert and former Guber candidate in Anambra 2021 election Val Ozigbo ,Renowned entrepreneur,Nonso Okpala, Former PDP presidential aspirant and respected igbo leader in the diaspora, Dr Nwachukwu Anakwenze, among other influential dignitaries.
The red carpet event will start by 2pm at the venue, Stanel Dome ,Awka.
