Development Initiatives: Enugwu-Ukwu Widows laud Obiano

The leadership of Enugwu-Ukwu Widows Association, has applauded Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano for developing all sectors of the state economy.

The commendation came when they paid a courtesy visit to the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the ABS

It was gathered that the widows during the visit, chanted songs of solidarity for the governor and his wife.

Briefing the ABS boss on the reason for their visit, the leader of the
group, Mrs. Regina Odinigwe said they came to intimate him on their
upcoming empowerment and awards ceremony coming-up on Sunday August twenty-fifth 2019.

Mrs. Odinigwe explained that they want to use the occasion to
appreciate those championing the course of widows in the state.
She extolled the wife of the state Governor, Dr Mrs. Ebelechukwu
Obiano for building houses for widows and provision of toilet
facilities for women at various markets among others.
