Delta killings : Group Calls on FG to fish out the perpetrators

A Human Rights Group, Southern Nigeria People’s Mandate ( SNPM ) has condemned the killing of soldiers by criminal elements in Delta state.

The group called on Federal government to fish out the perpetrators and demanded for compensation of twenty million naira (N20M) for each of the families of the slain soldiers.

The group also asked for free eduction for the family of all the deceased soldiers.

This was contained in a press statement signed by the Chairman of the group Mr. Augustine Chukwudum yesterday.

He described the killing of Nigeria soldiers by criminals in Delta State as an act of genocide against humanity,

His words: ” We condemn and call on President Bola Ahmad Tinubu to do something seriously to stop those bloody thirsty demons in human flesh who go about looking forward to waste citizens for their evil selfish interest.

“It’s unfortunate that in this modern digital world that our security men and women are been wasted and the only language we hear from our president is condemnation that is the end,that is why killing in Nigeria today is phenomenonal, because our rulers do not value human life.

“This is time for everybody to rise up and demand for good governance because we all know that, we are suffering bad governance that is the remote cause of this problem we are facing today and to make things worst the President BOLA AHMED TINBUNU does not listen to advice from professionals and civil society,

“This a man who promised Nigerians that he will use drone to flush out terrorists that is holding the country to ransom during 2023 presidential campaign, now close to ten months in office we are yet to see his promises to securing Nigeria.

“We hereby call on the federal government to fish those terrorists that are responsible for the genocide. Federal government must compensate the families of the slain soldiers with twenty million Naira each and take over their children’s education” ,the release concluded.
