Debate as Remi Tinubu asks Osun governor to stop singing at Ooni’s event

First Lady Oluremi Tinubu sparked controversy after asking Governor Ademola Adeleke to stop singing during his speech at the Ooni of Ife’s 10th coronation anniversary.

Critics, including Dele Momodu, called her action bullying and unconstitutional, saying Adeleke was publicly embarrassed. Some, however, defended Tinubu, describing the exchange as lighthearted and a matter of event protocol.
