DAN ULASI: Matters Arising!

A prominent son of Nnewi went on national television a few days ago to insult the sensibilities of the Igbos.

Chief Dan Ulasi amongst many lies on the said appearance, claimed that the late President Shehu Shagari told him that no Igbo person will ever be elected President of Nigeria unless the Igbos reconcile with other Southerners.

Chief Ulasi further made the most nauseating claim that the Igbos caused the pogrom of 1966 in the North, by Igbo women singing “ewu na ebe akwa” in Kaduna. He claimed to have witnessed this personally at the time in Kaduna.

All these amongst many terrible assertions were all geared towards cajoling our people to support the election bid of another Fulani for President for a further 8 years, just because his paymaster parted with filthy lucre for his personal benefit therefore, as we are looking forward to the end of a disastrous tenure of the incumbent President, another 8 years should be given as entitlement to a most corrupt politician that Ulasi’s paymaster has always supported each time he makes a failed bid for the nation’s number one position.

Dan Ulasi’s appearance at Kaakaki was facilitated as usual, by the Billionaire who currently ‘owns’ Nnewi the same way Tinubu ‘owns’ Lagos; determining who gets what, how, where and when.

Chief Dan Ulasi has consistently been financially sponsored to this political diarrhea of the mouth for at least the last ten years by this same Billionaire.

Each AIT Kaakaki appearance cost Chief Ulasi over one million Naira and for a man who has never had any known credible source of income, this level of financial commitment means that he who pays the piper, dictates the tune obviously.

Having appeared on the same program a few weeks ago to deny attacking Mr Peter Obi of Labour Party only recently, on that occasion holding out Mr Obi as the model of next President the country needs, Ulasi’s somersault a few days later on the same AIT program is to be understood by the fact that he has to continue funding his ostentatious luxury lifestyle by doing as the Nnewi Billionaire who also gave Nnewi North Mr Mba Mba as it’s first local government Chairman without any educational qualification.

I applaud Governor Chukwuma Soludo who through the Commisioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters Hon. Nwabunwanne has promptly suspended this Local Government Chairman imposed on us by our benevolent Billionaire.

While urging Governor Soludo to beware henceforth with the selfish recommendations of the current ‘sole owner’ of Nnewi North, may God save Nnewi from the fangs of this man who is also insisting that having denied Nnewi an opportunity to produce a Governor at the election of last year, is also now doing everything to ensure that our Senator does not return to the National Assembly next year, and that the Igbos lose this opportunity of winning the Presidency in 2023.

A final word on Dan Ulasi; Please don’t judge Nnewi people by the uncouth performance of this ruthless man who regularly trades off being the Chairman of Nnewi Royal Cabinet for personal monetary gains.
