CP ABAYOMI SHOGUNLE COMMENDS MASSIVE VOTER TURNOUT, ATTRIBUTES PEACEFUL POLL TO MONTHS OF PLANNING

The Commissioner of Police for Election, Anambra State, CP Abayomi Shogunle, has expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the ongoing governorship election in the state, describing it as peaceful and well-coordinated.

Speaking to journalists from the National Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Anambra State, after monitoring the election, CP Shogunle noted that the high voter turnout recorded across polling units did not come as a surprise to the security agencies.
