Following the lift on ban for congregational worship in Anambra state by Governor Willie Obiano yesterday in a statewide broadcast, worshippers this morning turned up in large numbers to their worship places.

The jubilant congregation lauded the lift of the ban on worship by Obiano and described the restoration of worship as a defeat against the plans of the devil.

Our Correspondent, Azokam Alokwu who monitored the worship across Anambra said the Churches observed social distancing, hand washing and other laid down rules stipulated by the Governor in his broadcast.

He reported too that fillers from other correspondents who were yet to file in their report stated that it was a smooth worship and worshippers were happy that God’s plan is always supreme.

According to a worshipper at St Patrick’s Catholic Church Awka, Mrs Margret Ejiofor , “we can’t allow Satan to take over praise centers for God” adding that Jeusus Christ has defeated Satan’s plan to take over churches even at a period of His death and ressurection which Easter signifies.
