COVID-19: Chinese Construction Company Donates Food items to Anambra Govt

To help in fight against Covid-19 pandemic, a Chinese Construction Company has donated one hundred and thirty bags of rice and two hundred cartons of noodles to the Anambra state government.

Presenting the items, the Public Relations Officer of the firm, Mr. Abdulfata Abdulraheem, said the gesture was to assist the State Government in fighting the spread of the virus in the State.

He lauded measures taken by the Anambra State Government in managing and containing the spread of the virus in the State, even as he commended those in the frontline in the fight against the pandemic.

Receiving the items, the Secretary to the Anambra State Government, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu said all items donated, which are being judiciously utilized, have helped in the successful fight against the pandemic.

He commended the company for effectively handling erosion menace in the State.
