The Principal Functionaries of Anambra State Polytechnic Mgbakwu ANSPOLY, today, Wednesday, 6th May, 2020, resumed work following the directive of the ANSPOLY Management and in line with the Federal and State Government’s Guidelines on phased easing of the lockdown occasioned by Covid-19 Pandemic.

Addressing the Staff, the Rector, Dr. Nneka C. Mefoh, welcomed all and thanked God for happy survival. She stated that it has become necessary to resume in batches starting with the Principal Functionaries to adequate maintenance of the COVID-19 pandemic precautionary measures.

The phased resumption, she pointed out, will give room for what she termed ‘the training of the trainers’ where the principal Functionaries, who are the Heads of various Departments, Units and Offices, are trained on the guidelines and encouraged to train the staff under them as they resume. This is imperative because, as she stated, you cannot give what you do not have.

While waiting for further directive from the Federal and State Government on the phased easing of lockdown and full resumption of work as well as recall of Students, she encouraged staff to continue engaging students online so as to have little or nothing more to cover before the exams when work fully resumes, even as advocates online meetings for staff using App as Zoom.
