The Federal High Court in Abuja ordered the forfeiture of $13 million tied to Lagos socialite Aisha Achimugu and her company, Oceangate Engineering, ruling the funds were proceeds of fraud.

The court rejected claims the money came from gifts, noting neither Achimugu nor the company proved legal ownership. EFCC had alleged the funds, linked to oil block payments, were routed through unlicensed channels.

The ruling finalizes an interim order from August 2025, transferring the money to the Federal Government.
