COMMUNIQUE ISSUED AT THE END OF JOINT SEC MEETING OF ORGANIZED LABOUR ANAMBRA STATE COUNCIL HELD ON FRIDAY, 24TH MAY 2024
SEC-IN-SESSION ADDRESSED THE OUTCOME OF MEETINGS OFWEDNESDAY, 22ND MAY WITH THE GOVERNMENT OF THE STATEAND WISH TO STATE AS FOLLOWS
- SEC-in-session passed a vote of confidence on the National Leadership of NLC and TUC ably led by Comrade Joe-Ajero Esq., and Engr. Festus Osifo pledged its unalloyed loyalty to the leadership.
- SEC-in-session condemned the unwarranted, and pedestrian languages used in some quarters and a section of the social media against the leadership of the NLC at the National level.
- SEC-in-session frowns at the heating up of the polity by section of the media from the meeting of the organized labour, Anambra State Council to the Government of Anambra State led by Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo and therefore admonishes that issues that will heat up the polity should be reported with caution as true and professional members of fouth estate of the realm (media)
- The sec-in-session acknowledges the diplomatic stand of the negotiating teams during the negotiating ‘process’, and urges that the terms of the resolution are kept accordingly.
