College of Health Technology, Obosi Marks 24th Matriculation Ceremony

It was a moment of jubilation and excitement for the students of Anambra State College of Health Technology Obosi in Idemili North Local Government, Anambra State with their guardians/parents during their 24th matriculation ceremony.
The event denoted the official ushering in new batch of students and was held at the College playing arena.
Some of the dignitaries that attended the event includes; the Chief of Staff to Governor Chukwuma Soludo, Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi; Anambra State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Afam Obidike, and the Head of Service, Barrister Theodore Igwegbe ably represented by Permanent Secretary in her office, Mr. Adebayo Ojeyinka.

Other dignitaries present were representatives of the traditional ruler of Obosi, Igwe Chidubem Iweka; the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) respectively.
In their separate speeches, Mr. Ezeajughi and Dr. Obidike urged the newly admitted students to be serious with their studies, saying they would play a critical role in strengthening the state’s healthcare sector.
They reaffirmed the administration of Professor Soludo’s commitment in improving health education and infrastructure to ensure that students receive top-notch training and holistic education both theory and practical.

Earlier in his address, the Provost of the College, Dr. Daniel Ezeobi congratulated the new students and advised them to adhere to all rules, regulations and ethics of the College which he urged them to maintain high moral standards of the institution.
He, however, lauded Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his love and special attention to the college as well as his prudent administration and vision in repositioning Anambra State.
Some of the matriculating students, Gloria Munachi and Theophilus Uchenna noted that the academic journey was tedious, appreciating their parents and all who made their dreams become a reality.

Anambra State College of Health Technology is located at Obosi Community in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State and offers the following programme; Community Health Extension, Environmental Health, Medical Laboratory, Pharmacy, and Medical Imaging Technology amongst others.
