Clique of Friends…… One’s Capacity

A popular saying has it that one’s friends portray him, determine his societal rating and eventually describe him.
Photos they say, tell a thousand stories. And this photo above is telling a thousand stories already for me. One of the stories is that the two in the photo are friends and they are Billionaire friends. One is in the showbiz, and the other is in the Maritime sector, though a showbiz promoter.

They are Chief Obinna Iyiegbu, better known as Obi Cubana from Oba, Idemmili South local government area and the other is High Chief Dr Azubuike Ekweozor, from Umuawulu, Awka South local government area, both of Anambra state.

Obi Cubana is a revered philanthropist, who has impacted the lives of so many youths and still impacting. His brother is contesting to represent his constituency in the House of Representatives.

Just last week, Obi Cubana donated N100 Million to the Anambra state Security Trust fund. His capacity came to the limelight during his mother’s burial which got so many people awed.

Many testimonies came to Light from people he has impacted their lives in one way or the other, and that got trending for months even till now. He has continued to show class in all he does in recent times as the topmost philanthropist in Anambra if not in the entire South East.

This shot with High Chief Dr Ekweozor, Ide Umuawulu, Nwanayoeze was taken during the burial of Obi Cubana’s mother in Oba. They are people of like minds because Ekweozor has brought smiles back to people’s lives through philanthropy.

Same way, Obi Cubana is revered in Oba, the same way Ide Umuawulu is revered in Obizi entirely not just his Community Umuawulu. Believe it or leave it, aside Ide Umuawulu’s political ambition which so many persons will be biased with their responses at the moment, Ide Umuawulu is a Godsend to Umuawulu people if not the entire Awka South constituency B(Obizi).

His ambition to vie to represent Awka North and South federal constituency in the Green chambers is to some extent his good deeds to the people of the constituency that motivated him. He wants to show the lass how to represent the people in the National Assembly. He wants to use legislative backup in blessing his people to show that those before now weren’t doing the right thing.

For the people of Awka North and South, Ide Umuawulu is a privilege, that may never come to us again in a lifetime.

For the sake of posterity and the generation yet unborn, Don’t give your votes to those who are determined to secure that seat for their pecuniary interest or those whose capacity is in doubt arising from one health challenge or the other.

Ide Umuawulu is that man who stood for his people, giving succour to the downtrodden when all hell was let loose emanating from the COVID-19 outbreak.

I appeal to all delegates, we still have time to decide the faith of Awka North and South, in the areas of, infrastructural development, human capital development, dividends of democracy and all that would bring the constituents to the limelight in the area of development.

Ide Umuawulu is out on a rescue mission in Awka North and South to redeem them from the bad stench of mal-representation.

Let’s vote for capacity and capability. Nwanayoeze is a man that has the contact to salvage the poor situation of the constituency. His philanthropy is unequalled in Umuawulu and Obizi in general. He has built houses for the homeless. He has empowered youths in business.

High Chief Dr Ekweozor has given scholarships to an uncountable number of students across the board. He has fed the poor and downtrodden. APGA is alive in Obizi partly because of his large financial support unconditionally.

He stood for APGA when the odds were high, canvassing for votes and today those who abandoned APGA had lined up to reap where they didn’t sow.

Ide Umuawulu has built and supported building of worship places for God. He has given hope to the hopeless. He is a lover of children and youths. Testimonies of his good deeds abound.

His ambition to represent Awka North and South Federal constituency is a sure bet if our delegates do the needful.

Ogwu ka oranum na onu!!!!
