As Christians around the world prepare to celebrate Easter, the Civil Liberties Organization (CLO), Anambra State Branch, extends warm greetings and a powerful message of love, hope, empathy and redemption to Christians.
In a statement endorsed by Evangelist Comrade Vincent Ezekwueme, Chairman, and Comrade Chidi Mbah, Secretary, CLO urges Christians to emulate the sacrificial life of Jesus Christ by showing love, care, empathy and compassion to one another.
“He died for us” – because without Good Friday, there won’t have been Easter Sunday.A message that resonates deeply this Easter season, serves as a reminder of Christ’s ultimate sacrifice on the cross for humanity’s redemption. The organization also pays tribute to victims of violence, including those killed in Plateau State on Palm Sunday, and prays for the bereaved to find solace and strength.
This is a period to think, act ,show, share love, kindness and forgiveness to one another CLO posited.
