Christmas: Asha Nnabuife fetes with Umu Idemili urges them to vote APGA Candidates

..hosts APGA National Assembly Candidates, Top Government Functionaries, Community Leaders, APGA Stakeholders

The Special Adviser to Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State on Local Government Affairs, Barrister Asha Nnabuife has put smiles on the faces of about 2000 persons in the spirit of Christmas celebration to ensure that the less privileged and some political party faithful did not go hungry during the Yuletide.
According to the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) stalwart who was the former Chairman of Idemili North Local Government Area(INLGA), for the past 15 years, I have been empowering and gifting people from all the wards that make up INLGA and the less privileged neighbors with cash and food items every Christmas.
“I just do it to ensure that no one or family wears a sad face during Christmas season. Christmas season is a time of celebration and happiness. It is a time those whom God has blessed can share what they have with the downtrodden.
“The idea is not just political or about party affairs but to show love, to reach out to the grassroots and touch the lives of orphans, widows, less privileged neighbors and party faithfuls so that everyone celebrates Christmas in a good mood,” said Nnabuife.
Moreover, Nnabuife further encouraged the Idemili North LGA (INLGA) constituents to endeavors to get their Permanent Voters Cards(PVCs) to enable them vote in APGA political party aspirants come 2023 elections saying that it would ensure more dividends of democracy for Ndi Anambra.
Also, the coordinator of the event, Founder of APGA New Media, Nnanna Nzewi reiterated that since he met Asha Nnabuife in the year 2000 he had witnessed him hosting a large crowd yearly to celebrate Christmas with them out of his pocket expenses.




“People have been here since 12noon patiently waiting to receive some Christmas gifts from him. This shows that Asha Nnabuife has the capacity. I wish other prominent persons in our society would emulate him,” Nzewi said.
Former SPAD to Gov on Political matters, Barrister Ifeatu Obi-Okoye said: ” It has been a tradition that every Christmas, Nnabuife conveins thousands of people to his country home and shares lagesse.
“We party stakeholders do come around to felicitate with him. When God blesses you,,do what Nnabuife is doing reach out to others. God will continue to bless and replenish the pocket of the donors who gave out today.
“Today, APGA National aspirants, Hon Dozie Nwankwo(Onye Ndozi) and Chief Ikenna Iyiegbu(Ike Cubana) contesting for Senate and Federal House of Representatives respectively saw the kind gesture and keyed in to support,” Obi-Okoye said.
However, Hon. Dozie Nwankwo, APGA Senatorial Candidate for Anambra Central who is currently sponsoring a bill to establish a College of Agriculture that would offer more educational and employment opportunities in Anambra Central Senatorial Zone appealed to the masses to vote for APGA candidates.
“My foundation’s next medical outreach for eyecare and toothcare will be in INLGA. The Enugwukwu Skill Acquisition center is for empowerment to eradicate poverty, kidnapping. The College of Agriculture will introduce mechanized farming and food processing.
Moreover, Chief Ikenna Iyiegbu, APGA Candidate for Idemili North and South Federal Constituency maintained that a vote for APGA remains a vote to eradicate hunger, build good hospitals and healthcare, for better schools and human capital development.
“This is the time for original change. A bird at hand is worth more than millions in the bush. Vote for APGA up to down, for progress, youth empowerment, building human beings and to ensure food is on people’s tables,” Iyiegbu said.
In his remarks, the Secretary to the State Government, Prof Solo Chukwulobelu eulogized the host, Barrister Nnabuife for his generosity. He promised to facilitate the decentralization of PVCs distribution to enable people collect their PVCs and vote in APGA candidates come 2023.
Other dignitaries that graced the event include Anambra State Commisioner for Works, Engr. Ifeanyi Okoma, Chief Alex Obiogbolu, Special Adviser Political matters to Gov Soludo, INLGA Chairman Chief Chuks Igboanua (Ezeoba) , Idemili South Chairman, Hon Mrs Amaka Obi(Iyom Idemili), Anambra State Association of Town Unions (ASATU) President, Barrister Titus Akpudo(Ichakaegbejiegbuagu) among others.
