Thé Archdeacon in charge of St. Faith, Awka, Venerable Samuel Okonkwo has encouraged Christians to stand firm on their faith. He said, Christians should hope and trust in God, that with him all things are possible.

Ven. Sam .O. as he is popularly called, encouraged Christian’s to alway look up to Jesus Christ as their personal lord and savior. He urged them to believe that he is the way, the truth and life.

Furthermore, he explained the doctrine of Lent to the congregation. He explained thus, "Lent is the Christian religious observance in the year commemorating the 40 days Jesus Christ spent fasting in the desert and enduring temptation by satan, according to the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke before beginning his public Ministry"

The service was actually interactive, the congregation sang songs of praises and worship to God and also danced joyfully. Some few announcements was made and everyone joyfully went home with joy.
