AWKA – Leaders of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) in Anambra State on Saturday launched a national prayer movement for the realization of a Nigerian president of Igbo extraction come 2023.

Launching the project in Ogidi in Idemili North Local Council of Anambra State, the leaders said it was time Christians showed more than a passing interest in the political process in Nigeria.

One after the other the Christian leaders regretted that in the past they had looked at politics as evil and that gave opportunity to people of questionable character to seize the stage.

The chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria, (CAN) Anambra chapter, Bishop John Ndubuisi, said that justice, equity and fairness are the hallmarks of what are needed for Nigeria to make progress but these are lacking because Igbo has been left out and are yet to contribute in the building of the nation.
