My name, Chisom, is a testament to God’s unwavering presence in my life, meaning ‘God follows me.’ I believe His favor is the driving force behind my existence, and my subconscious mind is guided by His wisdom.

Born into a loving middle-class family, I learned to be self-sufficient and independent, paving the way for my younger siblings and setting a positive example. Through life’s ups and downs, God has consistently led the way, using me as a vessel to touch others.

My parents, overjoyed by my arrival, bestowed this name upon me, and it has indeed been a blessing. Chisom is more than just a name – it’s a symbol of hope, protection, and guidance.

Growing up, I was stubborn, but my disciplined parents taught me invaluable life lessons, shaping me into a resilient individual. I’m forever grateful to be their proud daughter.

My passion for writing is an unrelenting addiction, starting from primary school. Though none of my novels have been published yet, I’m determined to make it happen. I cherish independence, nurture meaningful friendships, and indulge in good food! Reading and writing are my daily solace.

Caring for others, regardless of age, tribe, or background, is a trait I hold dear. My motivation for attending Unizik, one of Nigeria’s premier institutions, was its reputation for excellence and experienced lecturers. As a Mass Communication student, I’m poised to harness my writing talent to make a lasting impact.

My dreams are ambitious – to become a successful, independent woman who owns schools, hotels, and supermarkets. I aspire to be a journalist, novelist, and advisor, supporting my family and community in every way possible. My mantra? ‘What makes one wealthy is the healthiness of people around them.’
