Chief Oguejiofor set to build an ICT Centre in the University

The Chairman, ROTECH Group of companies and renowned philanthropist, Chief Austin Oguejiofor on Monday, 30th November, 2020 performed the ground breaking ceremony of an ICT Centre for the Faculty of Environmental Sciences.

Speaking shortly before the foundation stone laying, Chief Oguejiofor stated that the idea behind the project is in achieving ICT-driven education in tandem with the Project200 drive of the University’s Vice-Chancellor.

Describing Information & Communication Technology as the way to go, the Enugwu-Ukwu born philanthropist assured the University on the completion of the project in a record time.

In his remarks, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Charles Okechukwu Esimone, FAS expressed joy over the gesture, commending the benefactor for identifying with the University.

Earlier in his remark, the Dean, Faculty of Environmental Sciences, Professor Cliff Nwana expressed appreciation to Chief Oguejiofor for accepting to domicile the project in the Faculty.
