The Presidential flag bearer of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, is the second Nigerian Presidential hopeful to lecture the world at Chatham House.

This follows an invitation extended to him for January 16, 2023 by the organisers to discuss his plans for Nigeria if he is elected in the 2023 general election.

Obi is the second presidential candidate to be invited to address the global forum.

His invitation is coming days after the candidate for the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, visited.

Chatham House Africa announced the development in a tweet on Thursday.

It tweeted: “Nigeria’s 2023 Elections: In conversation with @PeterObi.

“The second of our events examining #Nigeria’s 2023 elections and political developments will take place on January 16, 2023.”

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, appeared at Chatham House in London, where he revealed some of his plans for major sectors like defence, economy, education, and technology.

Tinubu’s performance at the forum has sparked a national controversy with praises and knocks coming from his supporters and the opposition. It was curious and unacceptable to Nigerians that the APC candidate couldn’t answer any of the questions thrown to him, rather he delegated people to answer them for him, sparking criticisms and fears of his mental acuity.
