Canadian Court Labels APC, PDP Terrorist Groups, Denies Ex-Member Asylum

The Federal Court of Canada has upheld a ruling classifying Nigeria’s APC and PDP as terrorist organisations, denying asylum to former member Douglas Egharevba over his past affiliations.

The court cited both parties’ alleged roles in electoral violence, killings, and democratic subversion, affirming that membership alone meets Canada’s legal threshold for inadmissibility. Deportation proceedings are expected.
