Recently, The Alaigbo Development Foundation unveiled a book on Obi’s eight years of governance in Anambra State.

The title of the book is: “The Challenge of Good Governance and Leadership in Nigeria: Eight Years of Peter Obi in Anambra State.”

Prof. Nwala said the book was not essentially about Peter Obi as a person, but about the exemplary and purposeful leadership he provided that had remained a beacon of good governance.

The irony of the book is that Obi’s people did not know about it, until Prof. Nwala, the protagonist of African Philosophy, called me two days to the unveiling and requested I come with some of those that worked with Obi as a symbolic gesture. If you listened to their speeches, you would hear Dr. Egbebike lamenting that if EXCO members were carried along, that the 152-page book would have just been the contents and introduction. In effect, he submitted that there are a lot to be said and write about Obi when it comes to good governance and leadership. However, speaking through the Prof., the Alaigbo Foundation said that they did not need Obi’s aides for the objectivity of the work and that, in any case, what was unveiled was just the part 1
