Buhari reappoints prof Ajayi as FETHI CMD
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the reappointment of Prof Adekunle Ajayi as the Chief Medical Director of the Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido Ekiti.
The Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire, said the President was satisfied with “the performances of Prof Ajayi, which are geared towards strengthening the health system and improving the health service delivery to Nigerians since he was first appointed the CMD of the hospital.”
According to a statement by FETHI Corporate Affairs Head, Francis Bank-Akinnuoye, the minister spoke on Thursday while presenting the letter of renewal of appointment to Ajayi, a professor of medicine.
In his reaction, the CMD thanked Buhari and Ehanire “for the renewed confidence in him to continue to serve the country as the Chief executive of FETHI”.
