Buhari Appointment: Anambra Speaker Congratulates Victor Oye
The Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Right Honourable Uche Okafor has congratulated the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, Chief Victor Oye on his appointment by President Mohammad Buhari as a member of the Steering Committee for the Preparation of Medium Term National Development Plan from 2021 to 2025 and Nigeria Agenda 2050, describing him as a political expert.
In his goodwill message to Chief Oye on the appointment, Right Honourable Okafor maintained that the appointment would motivate Chief Oye to record more political accomplishments as a party leader.
The Speaker, who expressed gratitude to President Mohammad Buhari for finding Chief Oye worthy of the appointment, noted that Chief Oye being a tested and trusted National Chairman of the third largest political party in the country, would make meaningful contributions to the nation’s development agenda.
He called on politicians in the state to emulate the peaceful disposition of APGA and the leaders, which he said, has resulted in attracting goodwill and upliftment to both the party and its members.
Right Honourable Okafor extolled the harmonious working relationship existing between Chief Oye and the Board of Trustees Chairman and leader of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, Governor Willie Obiano and called for more support to the party.
