The founder of Jehovah Eye Salvation Ministry, Lagos, prophet Godwin Ikuru has beckoned fellow clergies to use their wealth to help them as the hardship and suffering in the country intensifies.

Speaking to newsmen in Lagos, the clergy urged his fellow men of God to help their members and stop blaming the government. He said “This is the Time we need to make impacts in the lives of our members by giving them during this critical and crucial period of lack, hardship and hunger, I do my own palliative and give every day, to the person that knows me can testify to this, let’s stop blaming the government, let the church support the government by helping the members that are in need, not flaunting private jets when your members are languishing in abject poverty and lack”

He maintained that Jesus Christ laid a perfect example in the Bible when he fed the multitude that had been following him for days because he knew that they were hungry, he maintained that the church can play a paramount role in helping the Nigerian nation “let’s bring out money to help our members, we must know that all these are vanity when we die, nothing is going with US, we must touch lives positively especially those of our members because they pay us tithes, seeds and offerings”.
