Breaking: Over 208 Corpses For Mass Burial By Anambra Government

The Anambra state Government has approved the disposal of abandoned corpses from 2014 to 2023 December at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital Amaku-Awka .
Already, over 208 corpses abandoned at the Government facility at Awka ha been placed for mass burial if their relatives refuse to claim them in the next one month.
This was contained in a statement signed by Public Relations Officer (Agbai Henrietta . N.)on monday 29th day of April, 2024 .
The statements reads: His excellency ,The Ezecutive Governorod Anambra State has approved the disposal of abandoned corpses at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital Amaku-Awka .
To this end, the management wishes to inform the general public tthat COOUTH Amaku-Awka intendes to conducts mass burial of the abandoned corpses in its mortuary from 2014 to 2023 December .
Therefore , those whose relatives are missing should visit the Hospital mortuary for possible identification and collection of such corpses(s) within one month from the date of this publications / Announcements.
