The Archbishop Ecclesiastical Province of the Niger and Bishop Diocese of Awka, Anglican Communion Most Reverend Alexander Chibuzo Ibezim PhD has appealed to Christendom to use the Boxing day to remember the widows, less privileged ones , widowers , and orphans in the society.

Archbishop Ibezim gave the advice in Awka in a statement to mark the Boxing Day 2021.

Archbishop Ibezim urged the wealthy people in the society to extend hands of fellowship  to the deprived and challenged people in the society  as they celebrate Christmas.

He said”We want to remind people that as much as  we are  celebrating  Christmas, rejoicing  with  our  families, I want to encourage  you to remember  those  that are in  the prison, the motherless  babies  homes, beggars in the street , try to do something  outside  the box.

‘You can take care of your family  but go outside the box  and remember  those that live outside the box and to do something  for them.

‘If you do that, you will be hournoring  God  who kept them  from the beginning of the year till now to celebrate  Christmas  and Boxing Day. Do something  outside the box’ , Archbishop Ibezim appealed.
