Borno School Attack: Parents Declare 36 Students Missing as Angry Youths Protest

Parents in Lassa, Askira-Uba LGA of Borno State, say at least 36 students remain missing after suspected ISWAP terrorists attacked Government Day Secondary School during NECO examinations, killing two teachers and abducting several students.

The development sparked protests by youths and relatives, who rejected a government delegation and demanded immediate rescue efforts, while the state government ordered the temporary closure of schools in Lassa, Dille and Chul.
