Bishop Ezeofor invests 40 Anglican faithful into knighthood

Forty Anglican faithful have been invested Into the Knighthood order of Saint Christopher and Lady of Bethany respectively in the Anglican Diocese of Aguata.
The event which was performed by the Anglican Bishop of Aguata Diocese, Right Reverend Samuel Ezeofor took place at the Cathedral Church of saint John Ekwulobia.
One of the elevated Anglicans is Chairman, Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics, Federal Polytecnic, Oko, Sir Onyebuchi Igbokwe.
The investiture ceremony is the third in series since the creation of Aguata Diocese in 2005 and first to be performed by Right Reverend Samuel Ezeofor since he became the Bishop of Aguata Diocese three years ago.
In a sermon during the ceremony Bishop Ezeofor charged Christian Knights to always live a life worthy of the Divine calling. He stated that it is a privilege for Christians to be called by God and charged the faithful to accept Jesus as their saviour and Lord.
Bishop Ezeofor urged those that were made Knights of the church to understand that it will be dangerous to see some of them not working as disciples of Christ. He equally reminded them of the need to endure hardship as soldiers of Christ and that of the cross.
Bishop Ezeofor charged members of Knight to always speak out when things are going wrong in the society especially in the Church.
He advised those in leadership position to always follow the leadership Principles of Christ in order to succeed.
On the Sixteenth year Innauguration of Aguata Diocese Bishop Ezeofor charged the faithful to always bear the Lamb of Christ where ever they are.
in their various interviews the Deputy Majority leader of the Anambra State House of Assembly Sir Emeka Aforka who was enrolled Into the Knighthood order of Saint Christopher and Justice Peace Otti who was made a lady of Bethany during the event promised to use their new position in winning souls for Christ in addition to defending the church.
Chairman Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics, Federal Polytecnic, Oko, Sir Onyebuchi Igbokwe said the investiture has added more responsibilities to his duties as Christian.
