Big Mistake: What Lampard Said About Mendy, After Everton Beat Chelsea.

By Rowlandgate.

Chelsea went to Goodison Park with full hope of claiming three points but were however disappointed as they fell to a single goal and could not find the back of the net throughout the match. Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has made a big statement after his team lost against Everton.

The Blues were the best team in the match but despite that, a costly mistake from the goalkeeper Edouard Mendy made the London team to concede from a spot kick. Chelsea were also lucky not to have concede another penalty as VAR ruled it out after Ben Chilwell fouled an Everton player in a no man’s area. Reece James and Mason Mount made serious attempts but were also denied by the wood work and Chelsea came crashing after 90 minutes.

Speaking about Mendy, the coach maintained that despite the error he caused, he will be allowed to continue as a single mistake should not shade the great performance he has shown since joining the club.  Odogwublog.com

However, the talking point of the match is the costly mistake by Mendy which led to an early goal which the team was not able to cancel out and after the final whistle, Lampard has spoken about the entire match performance.
