Dear friends and colleagues, a goldfish, they say, has no hiding place. So it is with our own dear friend, mentor, brother and colleague, Prof Rtn. Sir Au. Nnonyelu and his lovely and beautiful wife, Nkiru, who quietly and humbly celebrated Silver Jubilee of their gracefilled marriage on October 26, 2021.Â
Prof Au, as he is fondly called, a great academic and leader, has served as the Honourable Commissioner for Education Anambra State; Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Anambra State on Ecology; Chairman, Awka South LGA; Chairman, Anambra State Housing Authority; two time Council member of Unizik; Dean, Student Affairs; Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences; Director, CEP; Director, Unizik Business School; District Chair Membership of District 9142 of Rotary International, and current Director, Emeka Anyaoku Institute of International Relations and Diplomatic Studies.
He is also District Chair, Community Service of RI District 9142; Cabinet Chief of the ancient city of Awka; a Papal Knight of the ancient and noble Order of St. Sylvester, and National President, Nigerian Sociological & Anthropological Association of Nigeria, etc.
May we join hundreds of their loved ones and well-wishers to celebrate them on this milestone as they continue to inspire and encourage all beginners and old chips in this all encompassing enterprise called marriage.
May God continue to bless their marriage which has already produced a Pharmacist et al. The blessings shall be countless. Amen!
