The Anambra State Director, National Orientation Agency (NOA)Awka,Sir Joseph Uchendu ,has advised Nigerian students,especially the final year students of the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University ,Igbariam, Uli Campuses and that of the College of Medince Amaku Awka to maximize every opportunity that come to them as they move into the society after their graduation.

The NOA State Director, Sir Joseph Uchendu, gave the admonition while presenting a paper with the title,”To Thine Own Self Be True :Lessons For Survival In Your Post Graduation Year,” at a day three Programme Organized on Employment Readiness and Job Creation by the Leadership of the Centre For Entrepreneurial Studies,
Chukwuemeka Odunegwu Ojukwu University for the final year students of the University, held at Igbariam ,Uli Campuses and COOUTH, Amaku Awka ,at different fora respectively.

He urged the graduating students to be humble enough to master the skills,even from the road side and as well imbibe the spirit of dexterous and courageous as they move into the society to meet another phase of life.

In a key note address, the Director, Centre For Entrepreneurial Studies,Chukwuemeka Odunegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam Campus, Dr. Onyechi Uzoka, charged the students to work towards identifying their job passion early enough, saying that the essence of the program was to change the mindset of the participants for better with view to enable them achieve greatness in their respectively chosen careers in the society after graduation .

In a lecture on Leadership,Networking and Entrepreneurship by Dr. Patrick Mbanefo of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, he noted that the programme was packaged by the organisers to instil the spirit of entrepreneurship on the students,irrespective of their choice of study in the University,especially now the nation’s economy is sick.

In another lecture with the title, “Deregulation of the Fossil Energy Downstream Sector, Youth Productivity and Entrepreneurship in Nigeria,”the Chief Executive Officer, Chris Seafair Farms Limited /Save the Youths Empowerment Foundation (SAYEF),Mr. Chris Ify Okonkwo, challenged the graduating students not to allow the ugly happenstance in the Country to stop them from achieving their set objectives by maximizing their time effectively at any given moment in the country.

Also, the provost, College of Medicine,Chukwuemeka Odunegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hostipal Awka, Professor E. C. Ojiyi, who was represented at the events by the Secretary of the College,Dr.Ohuoha Maudlyn advised the final year students to make hard work their watch word and comnended the organisers of the event for deeming it necessary to hold the workshops ,especially now the white cola job is no where to be found in the Country today.

The final lap of event which was held in the Clinical Hall of the College of Medicine, Chukwuemeka Odunegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital, Awka was fully attended by the Medical students of the College, including the Dean of Faculty, Professor Obiorah Ejiofor, represented by Mrs Susan BE THAT CHANGE EXPECTED FROM YOUR COUNTRY NIGERIA NOA TELLS NIGERIAN STUDENTS
