Be alert: This is a wicked world – Mrs Anene, Guest preacher warms MFM members

A guest preacher from Nnamdi AzikiweUniversity Awka, Mrs Anene, has advised the congregation of Mountain of Fire Ministries, MFM Church, to beware of wicked people in this wicked world.

She was relating the message to the death of a well known late lecturer and professor in making, Mr Chima Anolue whose family helper clubbed him to death.

  Mrs Anene caught the attention of the congregation while preaching on a very interesting topic which she linked to the recent and tragic circumstance at hand. She stated that “the people you help and do good to can later turn out to have evil plans or agenda for you”.

She also stated that “whenever you see or notice that someone you love and cherish is behaving strangely to you or in an uncomfortable way, we should try to avoid such person because we don’t know what the person have in mind for you”.
She began the story of late Mr Chima Anolue, a psychology lecturer in Nnamdi azikwe university by stating that she is the mother to the very good friend of late Mr Chima.

According to her, Mr Chima, a 33 yrs old PhD student who was about to get married, lived with his parents who lived with a 17 yr old boy they took as their son and trained him in a school, inky to turn around and kill their son he supposed supposed take as brother.

According to her, Mr Chima’s parents were not all so comfortable having the boy stay with them, so they warned him to take the boy back home but due to Mr Chima’s kindness he refused.
He came back from work on Friday evening around after seven and found out that the food his 17 yrs old house boy cooked got burnt, so he asked the boy why the food got burnt with an angry tone and why he had not done his house chores.

Mr chima turned to go back to the living room when immediately, the boy picked up a pestle and hit the innocent man on his head and he fell to the ground. While laying on the ground, the boy kept on hitting him with the pestle as if he had had the intention of killing him but was just looking for a way to make it happen.
The parents of Mr Chima travelled the day before the incident for a burial of one their relatives. It was discovered that a girl was there to witness the incident but she couldn’t go close to save the man or check if he was dead as she was also trying to protect herself from getting hit too, so she went downstairs to seek help from the neighbors.
Later that night , Mr Chima was taken to the hospital. He was laid on the hospital bed and immediate medical treatment was given to him. He gave up the ghost after series of attempts of reviving him. The boy was then taken into police custody to be interrogated by them.
In conclusion, Mrs Anene warned us to always watch and pray not to fall into wrong hands and also not to experience failure at the edge of breakthrough.
