Bandits kill two elders, abduct several in Katsina raid
Bandits on Tuesday night attacked Doguwar Ɗorawa in Bakori LGA, Katsina State, killing two elderly leaders and abducting several residents.
Community sources identified the victims as Alhaji Bishir and Alhaji Surajo, saying the attackers operated for over an hour unchallenged. Another village, Layin ‘Yannehu, was also raided the same night, with livestock stolen.
Authorities have yet to comment on the renewed violence despite the state’s peace accord with bandits.
