Awuda Nnobi Women wing(Inyom Awuda Nnobi) in Idemili South Local Government Area, Anambra State has inaugurated the new executive committee that would take over the leadership of the women for the next four years.

Moreso, a philanthropist, the Managing Director, Lovebite Bread, Chief Okwudili Nwosu(Umenze Isimmili Idemili) gave succor to 48(forty eight) elderly and less privileged women from Awuda Nnobi community.

The inauguration conducted during the Inyom Awuda Nnobi 2022 summit held at Awuda Nnobi Town Hall in the presence of the Awuda Nnobi Welfare Association (Men’s) executive led by Mr Ogochukwu Obielosi, Prince Ifeanyi Okigbo, Barrister Martins Okeke, Mr. Chinedu Okonkwo and Mr Ifeanyi Mokwe.

Inaugurating the new women’s wing executives, Barr. Martin Okeke who noted that their election/selection satisfied the provisions of Awuda Nnobi constitution advised them not to bear rule over their fellow women but rather lead by example.

The Acting Chairman Awuda Nnobi, Mr Ogochukwu Obielosi and the Secretary,Prince Ifeanyi Okigbo tasked the women to help foster peace in Awuda Nnobi community which would bring more progress and prosperity.

Earlier in her address, the Outgoing Inyom Awuda Nnobi ChairLady, Chief Mrs Ifeyinwa Nnekwelugo(Odiukonamba Nnobi) after appreciating God thanked the entire Awuda Nnobi women for supporting her during her tenure urging them to support her successor, Mrs Ifeoma Igwe.

Mrs Nnekwelugo who said that her administration resuscitated the women’s community Mill which was formally moribund to start generating revenue for Inyom Awuda Nnobi admonished the women to always embrace peace, unity and love.

She further lauded Producer of Lovebite bread, Chief Okwudili Nwosu for doling out hundreds of thousands of naira distributed to 48 elderly and less privileged women from 12 wards represented at Inyom Awuda Nnobi summit.

The Inyom Awuda Nnobi New executives include: Chairlady- Mrs. Ifeoma Igwe, Assistant Chairlady- Mrs. Chinelo Udo, Secretary- Mrs. RoseAnn Okpala, Assistant Secretary- Mrs. Chika Uzokwe, Financial Secretary- Mrs. Patricia Ezeudu.

Others are Treasurer- Mrs Nonye Uzochukwu,Public Relations Officers- Mrs Ifeoma Mokwe, Mrs Eucharia Ugwumba, Mrs. Ifeoma Mokwe, Provosts- Mrs Benedict Ogunekpo, Mrs Adaobi Ugochukwu.

In her acceptance speech, Mrs Ifeoma Igwe who promised to run an inclusive administration encouraged every member of Inyom Awuda Nnobi to forgo their differences, anger and support the new executive towards greater heights and achievements.

However, The outgoing Chairlady, Chief Mrs Ifeyinwa Nnekwelugo, Mrs Ngozi Okwuejiofor and Mrs Chinwe Ezunagu were selected from Awuda Nnobi Ouaters women wing to contest for the posts of General Nnobi Community Women Leader/President General, Assistant Secretary and Assistant Financial Secretary respectively.

The beneficiaries of the Lovebite bread Owner, Chief Nwosu’s gifts were full of jubilation praying God to continue to shower blessings upon the philanthropist who remembered them to put smile on their faces.

According to the philanthropist, It is good for people who are better placed in the society to remember theless privileged putting a smile on their faces. It is our little way of giving back to the society to the glory of God.
