Awka North/South Sealed: “I can’t leave my Brother for another – Harford Oseke, Former Majority Leader

As the Primaries of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA for 2023 General Elections draw closer, the former Anambra State House of Assembly Majority Leader, Hon Harford Oseke has given reasons for supporting High Chief Dr Azubuike Ekweozor,(Ide Umuawalu) on his aspiration to represent Awka North and South in the House of Representatives.

Harford Oseke, having described Ide as his brother noted, that if electoral positions are done by merits, that Ide Umuawulu has the potentials, vigour and the capabilities required to be asked to represent Awka North and South in the House of Representatives.

His words: “Very soon, you will be addressed as Ide Awka North and South. That is why I told the National Chairman to transfer that support he intends giving to me to you. You started well, your courage marvels me, that is why I decided not to contest again.

Turning to Ide Umuawulu supporters, the former Majority Leader said: “I gave him my word long time ago, our relationship has been in existence since childhood, our bond is too strong that I can’t fight him. He is my brother, I can’t leave him for another person. I would do everything within my powers to support you”.

That reassuring message attracted ovation from Ide Umuawulu’s support groups .

He asked him to put his trust on God alone while he maintained that it is God that crowns King.
