Awka North North Mayor Calls For Active Participation In Supplemental Immunization Exercise
The Awka North Local Government Area Mayor, Hon. ThankGod Anago has called on the people of the local government to ensure that they participate actively in the forthcoming Supplemental Immunization activities in the state.
Speaking to newsmen in the local government’s secretariat in Achalla, Hon. Anago described the supplemental Immunization activities as crucial to safeguarding Anambra children from all preventable killer diseases.
The Awka North Mayor assured that the council area will provide all the necessary support to make the exercise seamless in the council area.
Over one million Anambra children are going to be vaccinated against measles during the exercise that will kick off on Saturday, 12th October, 2024 across the state.
