AWKA NORTH COUNCIL BOSS COMMENDS SOLUDO FOR ONE YOUTH TWO SKILLS EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME

The Transition Committee Chairman of Awka North Local Government Area, Hon Thankgod Anago has lauded the Anambra State Govenor, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR for the one youth two skills empowerment programme.

Hon Anago made the commendation after the graduation ceremony of the five thousand anambra youths who were trained on different life-changing skills and vocations by the Anambra State Government.

The Awka North Boss specially thanked Governor Soludo for the two billion naira start-up capital released for onward distribution to the 5000 successful youths to start up their vocations and businesses.

According to Hon Anago, this very gesture has once again demonstrated that Govenor Charles Chukwuma Soludo is a youth-friendly governor running a youth-friendly government adding that this has taken 5000 Ndi Anambra out of the labour market for the overall benefits of the State.

Hon ThankGod Anago called on the beneficiaries of the programme to make good use of the knowledge they have learnt and the financial support of Mr Governor to become self-reliant, successful economically and in turn add to the GDP of Anambra State in no distant time.

While appealing to all the youths and youth organizations in Anambra State to throw their support behind the administration of Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo, Hon ThankGod Anago re-stated his plans to domesticate the State Government’s one youth two skills empowerment programme for youths in Awka North Local Government Area.
