ASPIRE FC ADAZI-ANI COMMENCE TOUR OF MEDICAL FACILITIES AND CAREGIVERS’ HOME AS THEY CELEBRATE NNL PROMOTION

Aspire Football Club of Adazi-Ani domiciled in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State as part of their corporate social responsibility on Saturday, 27th August 2022, commenced tour of medical facilities and caregivers’ home in the state in appreciation of the creator for the club’s recent feat of promotion to the second tier of Nigerian Club football, the Nigerian National League (NNL).

Aspire FC management, staff and playing personnel had on Saturday visited Motherless Babies’ Homes while on Sunday, 28th August 2022, it was the turn of medical facilities with St. Charles Specialist Hospital, Borromeo, Onitsha and Iyienu Specialist Hospital, Ogidi to receive the 2019 Champions of the Neros Anambra FA Cup. The team management met with medical practitioners and admitted patients in the hospitals to provide succour and support albeit financially and materially especially at this trying times and difficult moments in the nation’s economy.

Reacting to the development, the Team Manager of the Adazi-Ani based side, Augustine Amakom Okoye stated that the visit was to create an atmosphere of love and hope for the sick and less privileged in the society as well as to give them a sense of belonging that despite their condition and challenges, there are public spirited individuals, firms and organizations that still care about their existence and welfare.

Okoye also posited that the recent visit to the hospitals and caregivers’ home is akin to the philosophy of the club’s proprietor, Dr. Emeka Okeke, who has in no small measures contributed immensely towards human resource management and human capital development in the state. He thanked the management of the hospital for receiving Aspire FC team while praying for healing and speedy recovery of the admitted patients.
