Archbishop Ndukuba Dedicates Modern Polytechnic Mbaukwu

The Archbishop Metropolitan and Primate of all Nigeria, Most Reverend Henry Ndukuba, has dedicated Renaissance Modern Polytechnic, Mbaukwu and other several Awka Diocesan projects of the Anglican Communion.

He dedicated the facilities as part of activities lined up to mark the sixtieth birthday of the Archbishop Ecclesiastical Province of the Niger and Bishop of Awka Diocese Most Reverend Alexander Ibezim.

Other facilities dedicated were the Archbishop Alexander Ibezim Faculty of Law Building at Paul University Awka and Millennium College of Nursing Sciences also in Awka.

The Primate was assisted by the Dean, Church of Nigeria, Most Reverend Buba Lamido and other Archbishops and College of Bishops.

Dedicating the facilities which commenced with Eucharistic Service, Most Reverend Ndukuba who described the projects as places to groom change agents and wealth creators to drive the nation thanked Archbishop Ibezim for his foresight.

The Primate noted that with such projects from the church, there are still hope for the future generation, even as he lamented that the nation has lost its educational value, while insecurity and corruption are currently destroying the entire Nigerian system.

Speaking to newsmen, the Archbishop of Enugu Ecclesiastical Province and Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Most Reverend Emmanuel Chukwuma, extoled the vision of the church in establishing the Polytechnic for entrepreneurial studies, especially now that the education system is on the verge of collapse.

On his part, Archbishop Ibezim, said with the projects, enhanced practical studies and technological improvement will be achieved to usher a new hope for the nation, while thanking the Primate and wife, Angela for making the event worthwhile.

The Provost of Millennium College of Nursing Sciences, Mrs. Chisom Ezulike, said that the college is structured and equipped to meet global standards.

The event which had in attendance, the President of the Women’s Ministry in both Awka Diocese and Province of the Niger Mrs Chioma Ibezim featured presentation of keys of the Faculty of Law building to the Primate and unveiling of the plagues.
