ANSPOLY Holds Matriculation Ceremony In Style

Undergraduates have been enjoined to commit themselves to self discipline , studious and meritorious living.

The Rector ,Anambra state Polytechnic , Mgbakwu , Doctor Nneka Mefo gave the advice during the fourth an fifth matriculation of the institution held at the school auditorium .

According to her , the polytechnic will establish awards for recognizing best students both in character and in learning to encourage undergraduates to be good ambassadors .

Doctor Mefo urged parents and stakeholders to work together with the institution to actualize its dream of modeling the character and attitude of the students .

The Rector noted that the polytechnic aspires to be recognized as the best in innovation , research and general service delivery in all disciplines , there was need for financial supports as the Anambra state government cannot do it alone.

She however noted that despite the rapid progress made so far, the institution still has major challenges which includes need for infrastructure for the commencement of Higher Diploma Programmed as well as recruitment of more staff.

In an interview some of the matriculating students appealed to government to construct more classroom blocks and hostels for more conducive learning an teaching.
