The Anambra State AIDS Control Agency (ANSACA) has announced the 2026 edition of its Professional Public Health Certificate Programme, aimed at strengthening the skills and competencies of health professionals, students, programme officers and other interested participants.

The programme will provide practical training in public health and HIV programme delivery through a hybrid learning format, combining online sessions with physical training.

The certificate programme features two specialised courses: Professional Certificate Course in HIV Monitoring, Evaluation and Strategic Information (HIV M&E/SI) and Professional Certificate Course in Comprehensive HIV Testing Services, Counselling and Confidentiality.

ANSACA said the training is designed to equip participants with relevant knowledge and practical competencies to improve programme implementation, strengthen service delivery and enhance career development in public health and HIV response.

The programme is being organised in collaboration with Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi; Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu Teaching Hospital (COOUTH); and the Department of Public Health, University on the Niger (UNINIGER).
